How does Uhtend work for event-goers?

Once you subscribe to Uhtend, you can simply check our Luma Calendar to see upcoming events.

You can RSVP on any event that you are interested in with the email used for subscribing; this will add you to the guest-list.

What next? You can simply turn up to the event on given date at the event location and have fun.

What type of events can one expect at Uhtend?

We host interactive and interpersonal events which require your active involvement.

You can expect fan meetups, trivias, sports nights, discussions, etc along with a healthy dose of experimental events curated by our team.

This helps to form better connections and socialise unlike other events where you are simply the viewer.

How is Uhtend different from other event ticketing platforms?

Most event ticketing platforms do not host the event themselves; tickets can be listed by anyone which means that the ticketing platform isn't liable to any damage done.

Event organisers that do host and list their own events do so at an exorbitant price keeping marketing spend, logistics, payroll in mind.

Scalpers then come into the picture to sell tickets you may have missed out on for 10x the price.

At Uhtend, we take core minimalism principles to curate, list and host events ourselves. This eliminates risk for our Uhtendees to a greater extent.

How many events can I expect in a week?

We plan to do 1-2 events per week.

Is Uhtend limited to Mumbai only?

Yes, currently our events take place in Mumbai only. We hope to spread out to other cities soon.

Can I get a plus one to an event by Uhtend?

As of 1st June 2025 you can bring a plus one to any of our event, subject to slot availability. Once you sign up, you can share the link with your plus one.

Does Uhtend currently have an app?

We are bootstrapped/asset-light/broke so no app for now. Gumroad for payments, Beehiiv for newsletter updates, Luma for event calendar and a WhatsApp community.

Our goal is to move to an app once we grow to 1000 subscribers.

Are the events open to all?

We aim to keep our events open to all; certain events may be limited due to age restrictions at our venues.
